The N5 in Roscommon has reopened between Tulsk and Ballinagare following a collision on Wednesday evening involving a lorry.
The road remained closed until late last night while works were underway to remove the overturned articulated lorry off the road.
The incident happened near Carrowreagh around 7 'o clock on Wednesday evening and caused significant traffic disruption in the area yesterday.

Diversion were put in place at Tulsk, and at the turn off for Elphin near Ballinagare.
Gardai confirmed to Shannonside FM that no injuries were reported and the route has fully reopened.
