Minister of State Jerry Buttimer was in Longford today to launch a national report on services for older people. The event at the Temperance Hall was organised by Pobal and coincided with International Day of Older People. The report which aims to support independent living among Ireland's ageing population involved input from a number of agencies. Speakers at the event included representatives from Pobal, ALONE, and other agencies from across Ireland.
