MEP welcomes Garda Commissioner's upcoming meeting with Farrell family

87-year-old Liam Farrell was found dead outside his home in Rooskey in 2020, and his family believes he was attacked.

A local MEP is welcoming the Garda Commissioner's upcoming meeting with the family of a Leitrim man who died in suspicious circumstances. Drew Harris is meeting Liam Farrell's family in Garda Headquarters in Dublin on July 31st. The 87-year-old was found dead outside his home in Rooskey in January 2020, and his family believes he was attacked.

No one was ever arrested, and Commissioner Harris ordered a review of the garda investigation, Ciaran Mullooly welcomes the upcoming meeting:
