A man in his 60s, arrested following a crash in county Mayo has been released without charge.
Gardaí attended the scene at the Castlebar Road in Newport shortly before 5pm on Sunday evening.
A motorcyclist, a man in his 50s suffered serious injuries and was transferred to Mayo University Hospital.

He remains in a critical condition.
The driver of a car, a man in his 60s was later arrested in connection with the investigation.
He has since been released without charge pending further investigations.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone with any information to make contact with them.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
