A man has been remanded in custody after being charged with one count of possession of child pornography in Roscommon earlier this week.
The man appeared at a special sitting of Roscommon District Court on Tuesday afternoon after being arrested by Gardai.
He was denied bail by the court after Garda objections and is due back in court this Friday at Harristown district court.
