A man in his 30s was arrested following a public order incident in Longford on Wednesday night.
Gardaí were called to reports of a disturbance on Main Street in Longford town at around 8.45 pm.
The man was subsequently arrested at the scene and taken to Longford Garda Station.

He has since been charged in relation to the incident.
