The Health and Safety Authority is reporting a 30% drop in workplace deaths last year.
16 fewer people lost their lives while at work in 2021 than the year before, the lowest number recorded since the formation of the HSA.
However the authority says there is still room for further improvement and it wants more companies to participate in it's free online risk assessment process.
