A lucky Longford punter is celebrating this weekend after scooping up a major cash prize from a tiny bet.
The anonymous punter placed a €1 bet on the main Euromillions draw in a Boyle Sports shop in the county, taking on odds of 33,000/1 for their four numbers to appear.
The numbers 8, 22, 23 and 32 all appeared in the draw.

The lucky customer has picked up a shocking total of €33,001 from their tiny investment.
Spokesperson for Boyle Sports, Lawrence Lyons, has congratulated them on "a memorable win."
