The number of newly confirmed cases of Covid 19 cases in the Shannosnide region are low this evening.
Of the 418 cases reported to the Health Protection Surveillance Centre as of midnight last night, Longford has five new cases.
There were 16 cases reported in Roscommon yesterday but that has decreased to less than five today, with Leitrim also recording less than five cases of Covid 19.

Seven further deaths linked to the virus have been confirmed this evening.
