A Longford student is hoping to become the next President of the Irish Secondary Students Union today.
Luke Casserly who attends St Mel’s College has served as Education officer and then as National Secretary for the last two years.
The elections are part of the National Assembly of the Union, which take place today from 10 o’clock.
St MacCartan’s student Adam Lambe is hoping to become International Officer for the ISSU’s National Student Executive.
Luke has told Shannonside FM that he’s fully aware of the commitment that’s involved.
