Gardai in Longford are investigating a spate of thefts of catalytic converters from cars in housing estates in town in the county this week.
Two of the thefts took place from vehicles parked outside houses in the Clonguish court estate in Newtownforbes and also the Cnoc na Gaoithe estate in Lanesboro in the early hours of Monday morning.
A further two incidents occurred in the Moy Mews area of Ballymahon and the Dun Darrach estate in Longford town in the early hours of this morning.

Gardai are appealing to anyone with any information to contact them at Longford Garda station.
