A national school in Longford town will have an extra special class available for students at the start of the next academic year.
Gaelscoil Longfoirt has been allocated an autism spectrum disorder early intervention class.
It's one of 45 extra special classes being rolled out across the country.

The Department of Education says the announcement brings the total number of new special classes to 427, with further approvals expected in the coming weeks.
