Longford man who died in N4 crash described as 'a great friend'

The late Kamil Gumiela was a native of Poland and had been residing in the Cam area of Edgeworthstown at the time of the incident.

A 21-year-old Longford man who died in a crash on the N4 last weekend has been described as a 'vibrant soul' and a 'great friend.'
The late Kamil Gumiela was a native of Poland and had been residing in the Cam area of Edgeworthstown at the time of the incident.
Mr Gumiela was the sole occupant of the single-vehicle collision, which occurred at Ballinafid, between Mullingar and Rathowen, in the early hours of Sunday morning.

His funeral mass took place at noon today, where he was described as an 'intelligent young man' who 'knew how to put a smile on everyone's face.'
Father Tom Healy, who celebrated the mass, said Kamil made an impact on any gathering:

His sister Alexandra said Kamil was a loving presence in the family:
