A group of Longford knitters have come together in an effort to raise funds for a local charity.
The group which was originally set up in 2019 produce knitted toys, dolls, hat, scarves and wreaths.
A special sale of knit-ware and crafts will take place today at the Pig Market Lane until 4pm today.

All monies raised will go towards Longford Hospice and organiser Mary Fallon said the charity is close to many people's hearts in Longford.
"We are a small group of 8 or 9 members, we have been kniting some beautiful pieces in knit and crochet. Some Longford families have been touched by the work that Longford Hospice do epically in such a venerable time in their lives."
