Local Gardaí have arrested a driver in the Longford area for drug driving.
The motorist was initially pulled over for travelling at 94 kilometres per hour in a 50 kilometre per hour zone on the Dublin road outside the town.
The driver also turned out to be an unaccompanied learner driver, who claimed they were late to a driving lesson.

After a roadside drug test which turned up a positive result for cannabis, they were arrested.
They'll face a court date in the coming months.
