An exhibition celebrating Longford's current and former female county councillors is set to open tomorrow.
The photographic exhibition will be on public display at Áras an Chontae for a week to International Women's Day.
Only 20 female councillors have been elected in Co. Longford across 127 years with just two sitting on the current county council.
