Longford Cyber Security expert believes the risk is low for cyber-attacks in Ireland

A Longford Cyber Security expert believes there is a low risk Ireland will suffer from cyber-attacks due to the war crisis.

It was initially feared that there was a heightened threat of an attack on Irish companies during the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

However, Enda McGahern says a major attack is unlikely but individuals should be aware of email and social media scams going around due to the war.
