Longford coach operator says Government must help the sector

Farrelly's in Keenagh operate a total of 40 buses and the family run business was first established in 1988.

A Longford bus operator believes the ongoing fuel crisis could prove to be calamitous for his business.

Liam Farrelly admits that it's a very worrying time for all transport businesses and he's hoping the Government will put measures in place to help similar to what they did during the pandemic.

With the costs of fuel at an all time high bus companies like Farrelly's in Longford face a huge challenge in keeping the show 'on the road'.

He says the immediate future looks very bleak.
