A large sum of cash has been found in a pair of thermal socks donated to a Longford charity shop.
The discovery was made by shopper Evelyn at the Caring and Sharing premises on Chapel Lane in the town.
Following an inspection of CCTV, it's understood the donation of clothing was made around March 10th by a lady who is believed to be from the Carrick-on-Shannon area.

Speaking on the Joe Finnegan Show Evelyn says she's now determined to reunite the money with its rightful owner.
