The virus has now been detected in five herds in Co Wexford since the first confirmed case here last month.

A local TD says the exporting of Irish cattle needs to urgently return to normal - despite the bluetongue outbreak.
The virus has now been detected in five herds in Co Wexford since the first confirmed case here last month.

There's no risk to human health or food safety.
Independent Ireland TD, Michael Fitzmaurice, told Agriculture Minister Martin Heyden he's concerned about issues regarding exporting Irish cattle:
