A renowned local storyteller will host a special fundraiser this Friday with proceeds going towards Roscommon twins George and Isaac Naughton. The Roscommon brothers were diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in 2012 along with their older brother Archie. Archie sadly passed away in 2022 at the age of just 16.
It's hoped George and Isaac can travel to the US for clinical trials and a number of local fundraisers have taken place to fund their trip. Storyteller Vincent Pierse has decided to host a night of storytelling at 8 o'clock in Kiltoom Parish Hall to raise money for the worthy cause.
