A Labour senator says she hopes as many local students and their families can join the party's protest outside Leinster House this evening.
A protest will take place at the gates of government buildings to call for the increase to the student contribution fee to be scrapped.
It is expected that those attending will also be calling for students to be made a priority in Budget 2026.
The demonstration is due to start at 6pm this evening.
