Over 2.1 million euro in funding has been announced for seven projects in the Shannonside region.
It's part of over 24 million euro in Town and Village Renewal funding for 77 projects nationwide.
Leitrim was given the largest allocation with €940,000 for three projects.
There's €500,000 for redevelopment works at the former Garda barracks in Keshcarrigan as well as €300,000 for public realm works at The Dock in Carrick-on-Shannon.
There's also €139,000 towards streetscape enhancements in Carrigallen.
County Longford is set to receive €609,000 for the restoration and enhancement of Lanesboro's Sensory Garden and a landscaped car park for Longford People's Park.
The Lanesboro project will benefit from €109,000 in funding while €500,000 will go towards the People's Park.
There's also almost €50,000 for a planning application for Lanesboro Eco Activity Park.

Senator Gareth Scahill, meanwhile, welcomed €600,000 in funding for Roscommon.
There's €300,000 each for Elphin streetscape enhancement works and €300,000 for pedestrian connectivity works between Roscommon Square and Loughnaneane Park:
