Local politicians attend launch of new virtual reality initiative in Lanesboro

Lough Ree Access For All which hosts inclusive, wheelchair-accessible boat trips on lake has introduced a special virtual reality tour at the amenity.

Minister Kevin 'Boxer' Moran was among those present for the launch of a new initiative in Lanesboro today.
Lough Ree Access For All which hosts inclusive, wheelchair-accessible boat trips on lake has introduced a special virtual reality tour at the amenity.

The new Inchcleraun VR Project in Ballyleague is a 10-minute virtual reality module which will allow visitors who are unable to physically disembark onto the island to explore its monastic ruins.
Members of the public will be able to discover the ancient stories of St Diarmaid and Queen Maeve through VR headsets.
