A local MEP says child abusers should 'never be allowed to hide and escape from accountability for their actions.' It comes as the European Parliament is set to vote on legislation which will criminalise AI child sexual abuse material in all EU countries.
This will include the development, possession, and distribution of artificial intelligence systems used to produce such content. Midlands-Northwest MEP Maria Walsh says the continued exploitation of children should not go unpunished:
