A well-known amenity based in the Shannonside region has been awarded a Blue Flag for 2023.
Quigley's Marina at Killinure Point in Glasson, Athlone was one of just 10 marinas to receive the honour.
In order to qualify for the Blue Flag, a series of stringent environmental, educational, safety, and accessibility criteria must be met and maintained.
