It follows threats from the Irish Road Haulage Association to launch a national day of protest against the rising costs.
It says the increasing price of petrol and diesel are putting huge pressure on logistics businesses.

Last night, Tánaiste and Minister for Finance Simon Harris confirmed that the Government is finalising an "appropriate intervention" to address fuel costs.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan Show this morning, Longford haulier Connie O'Reilly explained it's a particularly difficult situation for sole traders:
