Local Gardaí pulled over a motorist today for a number of traffic offences. The Roscommon Roads Policing unit clocked a driver this morning travelling over twice the speed limit at 103kp/h in a 50kp/h zone. On further inspection of the vehicle, it transpired that the driver had no licence or insurance.
Gardaí also say that a three year old passenger was not safely fastened in their seat. Gardaí seized the vehicle and court proceedings are to follow.
