Local candidate believes Government has not handled refugee crisis correctly

Aontu's Fayiz Alsani says it's unfair some refugees are living in tents while others are well looked after in hotels.

A local elections candidate in Boyle says Ireland could have Ukrainian or Arab 'ghettos' because of the government's mishandling of the refugee crisis. Aontu's Fayiz Alsani says it's unfair some refugees are living in tents while others are well looked after in hotels. He says the use of tented accommodation is creating an 'ugly' image of Ireland.

Fayiz lives in Boyle and works in the Abbeyfield Hotel Emergency Reception and Orientation Centre in Ballaghaderreen. Speaking to Let's Talk, Fayiz believes the Government has not handled the refugee crisis correctly:
