A Roscommon businesswoman says Storm Éowyn has heaped further financial pressure on the hospitality sector. Lauren Fleming, who runs Nana Anne's Café in Knockcroghery, says she was forced to close over the weekend due to a loss of power.

She's had to dispose of hundreds of euro worth of stock due to the loss of refrigeration in the aftermath of the storm. Speaking to Shannonside News, she said it has made an already difficult month even harder for small businesses:
