A local businessman is urging hauliers and contractors to attend an emergency fuel crisis meeting tomorrow evening.
The meeting is taking place at the Midlands Park Hotel in Portlaoise at 5 o'clock.
It follows Government excise duty cuts earlier this week.
Fuel prices have continued to spiral following the US and Israel's military intervention in Iran.
