Local artist goes ‘incognito’ in unique fundraiser

All works are priced at €65 and the artist's identity is only revealed once the piece is sold online.

A Roscommon artist is taking part in Ireland's largest online art sale in aid of charity.

Curraghboy woman, Avril Egan, says she's delighted her work will be featured in Incognito for the third year running. Incognito features works by anonymous artists with funds raised going towards the Jack and Jill Children's Foundation.

All works are priced at €65 and the artist's identity is only revealed once the piece is sold online this Wednesday. Speaking to Shannonside News, Avril said the campaign makes art more accessible for a very worthy cause:
