A weather advisory's been issued with heatwave conditions expected across the Shannonside region from later this week.
It's in effect from midnight on Wednesday until next Tuesday.
Met Éireann is warning of very warm or hot weather, with temperatures in some parts of the country possibly exceeding 30 degrees Celsius from Friday.

It's advising people to be aware of potential impacts such as uncomfortable sleeping conditions, heat stress and dehydration, and possible wildfires.
