Lidl has announced a €22 million deal with a Longford bakery.
The deal with Panelto Foods will bring their baked breads to Lidl stores across Ireland.They will also have their breads displayed in more than 950 Lidl stores throughout Great Britain and Northern Ireland.The Longford bakery has been a key supplier to Lidl for panini and sandwich breads since 2011.
Panelto Foods Commercial Director Garry Walsh says he is pleased with the deal that has fuelled employment opportunities for Longford residents.
