A Leitrim councillor says the county remains under prepared ahead of the arrival of Storm Amy. It follows news this week that there are plans for three generators to made available to residents in case of power outages. Those generators are yet to be put in place, however, and Cllr Gary Prior says the delay is unacceptable. Thousands were left without power in the county following Storm Éowyn in January. Cllr Prior says the county is not where it needs to be ahead of storm season:
