A special tree planting ceremony will take place in Drumshanbo tomorrow as part of Leitrim Pride.
The local LGBTQ+ festival has been taking place over the last number of days with a number of community events on offer.
The committee will join the Leitrim Hawthorn Project at the Mayflower in Drumshanbo at 3pm tomorrow to plant a sapling on behalf of the LGBTQ+ Community.

The event will also feature a piece donated by Leitrim based Willow Weaver Helena Golden.
Horticulturalist and Leitrim Hawthorn Project Member Wayne Frankham is delighted to see the sapling planted in the town.
