Leitrim has the cheapest childcare fees in Ireland. The average weekly fee for full-day care in the county is 150 euro, according to Children's Minister Norma Foley.
The national average is 190 euro, while it's 164 in Roscommon and 170 in Longford. The figures are before state subsidies - but Ballinamore councillor Roisin Kenny says they're not generous enough:
