County Leitrim had the lowest median property price for June, according to the latest CSO figures.
Nationally, the median price for a house in the last twelve months was €370,000.
The Residential Property Price Index shows property prices rose by 7.8 per cent in Dublin and 8.8 per cent outside the capital since June 2024.
The Castlerea F42 eircode had the lowest median price in the country at €148,000 with a house in the Boyle F52 postcode €187,000.
County Roscommon saw a median price of €197,000 in June while Longford properties were at €205,000.
The Athlone N37 eircode was the most expensive locally at €290,000 while the Roscommon F42 eircode saw a median price of €230,000.
Elsewhere, the Carrick-on-Shannon N41 eircode saw a median of €195,000.
The new report from the CSO, shows the median asking price in the county stood at €190,000.
Elsewhere in the Shannonside region, Roscommon’s median asking price was €197,000, while in Longford it was €205,000.
