A Leitrim councillor is calling on the Government to provide funding to a local counselling service. Northwest Stop is a voluntary community-based organisation that works to prevent suicide by informing, educating and promoting positive mental health.
Sinn Féin councillor Roisin Kenny will be bringing forward a motion to today's Leitrim County County Council meeting. Cllr Kenny believes the Government needs to put more focus on Mental Health services:
