A Leitrim Councillor is calling on the local authority to carry out a review of disabled parking bays in the county. Independent Councillor Irene Guckian Rabbitte is bringing forward a motion to next week's Leitrim County Council meeting.
Recent Public Realm Enhancement works in Carrick on Shannon and Mohill has seen an increase in disabled parking bays available. Cllr Guckian Rabbitte says whilst it's not a major issue in Leitrim, new disabled parking bays could be added in some areas:
