The co-founder of the Leitrim Calling phone service says the number of people who use their service has increased substantially during the past number of weeks.
The Leitrim Calling service was established over a decade ago in response to a census that showed a large number of people living alone in the county.
The service is free and involves volunteers making phone calls on a regular basis to people in their homes and helping them access services if necessary.
Marian Quigley says they've been able to put another 50 or so people on their calling lists with the help of others who have volunteered their services during the lockdown…
