A Leitrim boy has been cast in the new Harry Potter TV series.
Leo Earley from Drumsna in Co. Leitrim will play the role of Seamus Finnigan in the HBO production.
The role is the only Irish character in the story and is a classmate of Harry Potter.

The show will start filming in the coming weeks.
He's already well-known as a Seanchaí, who appeared on the Late Late Toy Show last year:
