A Kilbride woman has made history after being crowned the 2026 All-Ireland Ladies Senior Open Singles Champion.
Fiona Tully is the first Roscommon woman to hold the title following her win at the National Handball Centre in Croke Park against Galway's Ciana Ní Churraoin.
The 26-year-old handballer won the first game 21-17 and 21-14 in the second.
Her club, St. Comans, is holding an official homecoming on Monday evening to acknowledge the historical achievement.
