Claire Kerrane will be selected unopposed as Sinn Fein's only general election candidate in Roscommon-Galway on Thursday. The party has decided to run only one candidate in the constituency.
Deputy Kerrane, from Ballaghaderreen, will be officially chosen at a selection convention in Hannon's Hotel in Roscommon town on Thursday evening at 8 o'clock. Shannonside FM current affairs analyst, Michael Scally, believes she'll retain the seat she won for the first time in 2020:
