Justice Minister agrees to meet the family of Liam Farrell - as Dáil told garda investigation was 'inadequate'

Sligo-Leitrim TD Martin Kenny raised the case with Justice Minister Jim O'Callaghan in the Dáil this afternoon.

The Justice Minister has agreed to meet the family of Leitrim man Liam Farrell. The 87-year-old was found dead outside his house in Rooskey nearly six years ago.

His family believes he was attacked. Speaking in the Dáil this afternoon, Sligo-Leitrim TD Martin Kenny criticised the Garda investigation into the case:
