Over half a million euro in speeding fines were collected by local Gardai last year.
There were 1,300 more fixed charge notices handed out by Gardai in the Shannonside Northern Sound region in 2019 than the previous year.

4,965 fines brought in €433,360 between 2018 and 2019.
