Irish Rural Link conference criticises delay in roll out of broadband

The organisation is marking it's 30th anniversary today with a conference in Athlone

Irish Rural Link says broadband must be delivered to rural Ireland.

It's holding its 30th Anniversary Conference in Athlone today which will focus on Ireland of the 1990s.

It believes the rollout of broadband to every household in rural Ireland is taking a lot longer than it wanted.

CEO of Irish Rural Link, Seamus Boland wants Minister Humphreys who'll be at the event, to invest more in rural hubs.
