People suffering severe symptoms of MS, chemotherapy or epilepsy will be able to access medicinal cannabis in Ireland.

The Government confirmed it's funding the Medicinal Cannabis Access Programme for the first time.

But anyone looking to access the treatment will only be able to do so through a consultant.
