Incoming Camogie President and Longford man reacts to GAA merge

A deadline of 2027 has been set for the integration of all Gaelic games bodies.

The Connacht Camogie president has said he is delighted at the news that the Camogie Association and Ladies Gaelic Football are to come under the GAA umbrella within three years.

Brian Molloy who is from Lanesborough, will become the next president of the Camogie Association after the 2024 Camogie Congress, replacing Kildare’s Hilda Breslin.

A deadline of 2027 has been set for the integration of all Gaelic games bodies.
