A caravan illegally parked on a busy Longford street over the last number of days has been seized by Gardaí.
Several units of An Garda Sicohana attended the scene at the bottom of Richmond Street yesterday afternoon at approximately half one.
Members of the armed response unit patrolling the town were also dispatched to the Strokestown Road due to their proximity to the situation.

No arrests were made during the incident and the caravan was seized under The Roads Act 1993 with local Gardaí confirming they received full cooperation from those involved.
